Their work touches every part of the company from organizing meetings to building culture. Adaptable and dependable, they are the steady force holding the home office together.

Our technical team designs and installs secure networks, fits out SCIFs, and integrates telecommunication systems. We have CSTs supervising technicians who have worked CONUS and OCONUS. Certified in Panduit, Belden, OSHA, and CompTIA Network Plus, they bring proven expertise to every project. Whether you involve UTS in the design and planning phase, construction build-out, or infrastructure fit-out, UTS can help.

Vice President, Special Communications Division, Program Manager, Facility Security Officer, and WOSB
Natalie is a dynamic leader who keeps complex projects on track. She oversees SCIF installations and manages teams of TS/SCI cleared technicians. Her background spans contracts, finance, staffing, and operations, and she plays a key role in company compliance as Facility Security Officer. Natalie is also a WOSB stockholder and serves on the Board of Directors.

Vice President, Research and Development
Bud is a hands-on problem solver who thrives on bringing new ideas to life. He leads projects in cyber protection, drone systems, and airport safety tech, including ALARM, an automated cybersecurity system developed with NASA. His calm approach comes from years as a Marine fighter pilot and technical advisor. Bud also serves as President of the University Research Foundation.

President and CEO, Treasurer and CFO
Melissa leads UTS with a people-first mindset and a steady hand. She began in accounting at UTS and helped grow the company from the ground up, shaping internal systems, culture, and operations. Today, she guides long-term strategy while staying closely involved in daily operations. Whether navigating government audits or planning the next phase of growth, Melissa brings clarity, organization, and care to every decision. She also serves on the board of The Alternative Board (TAB) BWI and previously served on the Prince George’s County Board of Trade.

US Navy (Retired), Chairman of the Board
With 40 years in the Navy, Retired Vice Admiral Architzel brings a wealth of experience in aviation and defense systems. At UTS, he helps guide long-term strategy and bridge the gap between operations and innovation. His leadership is grounded in the belief that “all ships rise with the tide.” In addition to his role at UTS, he serves on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards that advance national security, including the University Research Foundation and organizations supporting Navy fleets.He also serves on the board of the University Research Foundation.

FGS supports intelligence, cybersecurity, and mission-critical systems across DoD and commercial sectors. UTS has partnered with FGS on secure installations and infrastructure.

Langley advances aerospace and atmospheric technology. UTS has provided infrastructure support aligned with their secure research needs.

CMCC integrates data and decision systems for U.S. air and space missions. UTS has contributed to secure data flow and operational readiness

The 363rd ISR Wing executes precision targeting and analysis missions. UTS has delivered network and communications support for classified environments.

The 480th ISR Wing is the Air Force’s leader in globally networked intelligence. UTS has supported their secure data and mission-critical operations infrastructure.
